Dr. Cecilia Krogsgaard-Sanchez

My passion for veterinary medicine started as a young child. Growing up in California, USA,  I spent my childhood caring for pets and riding horses.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the California Polytechnic State University of San Luis Obispo in 2016. I then moved to Scotland in 2016 to pursue my veterinary degree at the University of Glasgow! As a world traveller, I thought it only made sense that Canada would be my next destination as I enjoy mountain biking, skiing, open water swimming, camping and hiking in my spare time.

My favourite part about being a veterinarian is being able to educate people about the health of their pets and providing support to people and their pets in a time of need. I am thankful to be working in a clinic where the staff supports each other and goes above and beyond for their clients.
