In February 2003 after receiving my Veterinary Assistant certification from Stenberg College, I was hired at Alouette Animal Hospital. I started in Client Care, then worked my way into an Assistant position in the back, where I stayed for 2 years before taking some time off to be home with my kids. In 2011 I returned to Alouette planning to work part-time but was very quickly drawn back into full-time. The most rewarding part of my job is winning over the ‘challenging’ pets.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my 3 grandchildren, 5 dogs and looking forward to travelling again with my husband.
